They barely beat teams they were supposed to wipe out. Florida is turning out to be a has been team. Does anyone think we could beat Auburn playing the way they have(except against mcneese)?
I've seen a hella lot of coaching errors and one of the biggist ones is trying to play two quarterbacks. Some said somewhere that we are the worse unbeaten Team in the NCAA. I find it hard to disagree. The goal is to get to the Championship Bowl not the Spam Bowl. Squeaking by teams doesn't "point" well. Bring on the Playoffs |

I think LSU fans are no different than Bama or Florida fans etc. LSU fans ARE different than Ohio State fans who cherish a coach who cannot win the big game and hangs his hat on a goofy QB - no matter how nice of guy he his, I don't think Tressel would be tolerated well in the SEC.
Anyway, LSU fans see concern in that the offensive coordinator is sketchy and there are repeated time clock flaws, regardless of execution, that are never truly corrected. Les is lucky but he does put a good product on the field. Also, Les can recruit his rear off as LSU is already slated to have the a top 2 recruiting class again this year. What stuns people is with all the recruiting, he hasn't been able to bring in the right QB. Again, I think it has a lot to do with his QB coach/Offensive Coordinator who has a history of being kind of strange. If Les brought in a top notch new coordinator I think LSU would be unstoppable. |

All true stuff Halo. When you are a top notch NCAA football program, one loss can ruin your season. So each game is highly scrutinized by fans.
When you are a slacker NCAA football program, just win more games than you lose, most of the time, and you'll be loved. It really is that simple. |

I'm with you, Choupique. I lived in BR for nine years and worked in a concession stand at LSU games. In the student section. Wasted drunk, vulgar, thieving, obnoxious trolls-under-the-bridge. Seldom right, always certain, they couldn't even see the game. But that didn't stop them from booing and ridiculing everyone in sight. Insisting that LSU is the premier program in the nation no matter how they perform on the field. Jeez. I left that gig after two seasons.
