I would think Notre Dame would want to keep playing Michigan. They're both big draws, #1 (MI) and #2 (ND) in college football winning percentages and by taking advantage of MI's current state and beating them, ND could probably even take over the #1 spot. ... and on a side note, Catholic priests are not allowed to marry necessarily for religious reasons, but because the early Catholic Church did not want any survivors having claim to Church property when a priest passed away, ie a spouse claiming ownership in a rectory after her husband/priest dies ... and now this dropping of Michigan from the schedule ... pile on!! ![]() |
