At this point, if we make it to the title game, I HOPE we play Notre Dame. I'm so schitt-sick of hearing about them, I can't think of anything that would make me happier than watching Bama smack their fugly, gold-helmeted azzez around for 60 minutes.

Re: LSU Bama
I want an SEC team to win the N.C. again. Yes, even if it is Alastinkinbama.
I was rather shocked to see that LSU only fell 2 spots. I guess that the computers and voters are starting to see the truth. That the SEC IS, without a doubt the best conference in NCAA D-I Football. I want Bama to play ND or Oregon or K State. I want to sit back and watch the skull drag those teams 60 mins. I want the sportscasters to be forced to stop talking about USC, Oregon, or whoever! I want them to know that when the season starts that even a 2 loss SEC team is better than any other team. And to be the best you have to beat the best. The thing that hurts us (and it shouldn't) is that the SEC beats it's self up throughout the season and then has to play another SEC team at the end of the regular season for a confernece championship. You can't tell me that, just for kicks and giggles; that if Bama were to go the SEC CG and lose to Florida in a close game; that Bama shouldn't go to the NC game?!?! Hell yeah the should. And this comes from a BAMA HATER. |

Re: LSU Bama
I thought to myself (because I was the only one in the room at the time) before they lined up for the 45 yarder:
PUNT. A punt there and LSU is still celebrating. LSU has an excellent punter - decent chance he leaves Alabama with 90+ yards to go. The way they run the clock in college - I'm tellin ya LSU should have punted. They didn't, and three plays later it was all but over. LSU was out coached, and that's sad, because the players on the field for LSU deserved that win. Nice going Les... |

All week their "journalists" yapped about how LSU could save the college football world tons of grief by knocking Bama off, thereby swinging the door WIDE OPEN for inferior teams like Oregon, K-State and (gawd help us) Notre Dame to prance into the title game worry-free, without fear of (insert SEC team HERE) stomping them fore-and-aft. Without outright admitting it, what they're saying is, "we just want an SEC-free title game, so we don't have to acknowledge how god-awful DOMINANT they really are." Please!!! The only way an SEC team doesn't win the national title is if the BCS keeps us out. Our middle-of-the-road teams (Georgia, Miss. State, South Carolina) would give any non-SEC team all the trouble they want and more ... to say nothing of our elites (Bama, LSU, Florida). This fact is killing ESPN's "sports reporters," but there's little they can do about it. |

K-State is becoming my favorite among the contenders this year. Being a Longhorns fan I've come to respect Snyder and how hard they play as they've upset the Horns in impressive fashion a few times. Also I have a new grey cat who looks a bit like their mascot
And on top of that there's the Sproles connection. He was a real beast with K-State. |

Re: LSU Bama
With all due respect and cognizant that you and Danno and other Bama fans wear those Bama Goggles, the reason Bama looked like they played poorly has everything to do with the LSU defense and the improved play of LSU's OL and QB play... and Death Valley, of course. That being said, Saban proved once again he is a better big game coach in these close contests than Les is. For sure, Les' decisions cost LSU a potential victory. Also not said was the recent history of these two teams where the visitor has come out the victor.
It was a great game. The entire country enjoyed the great caliber of SEC football. ND, Kst and O should be quaking in their boots as none of those teams could hold a candle to either Bama or LSU. | |

I see it much differently my friend. You are lucky it wasn't a 4 score Bama win. |
