Who Will Topple the Tide?

this is a discussion within the College Community Forum; Wisconsin. They should be able to make the playoffs. Good D, awesome O line play and RBs. QB can be a problem... Gotta have faith!...

Alabama is Still Undefeated, But This is Nick Saban’s Worst Team Since 2010 | The Big Lead

"Worst" seems like a poor choice of words for me.

Do you know how many programs would settle on a less than stellar Saban team? Down year, it happens to the best of em.

Re: Who Will Topple the Tide?

Someone who will play to win. MSU stared at the clock in the 4th quarter, trying to will the time away instead of playing. Totally outcoached at crunch time

As bad a GA was Saturday, they have a chance in the SEC championship.
Bama has shown susceptibility, but still are heavy favorites. If someone like Miami sneaks in that will be a blowout

I sure didn't expect Auburn to do so.

Crushing defeat for the Tide. Should get a decent bowl game though but they will lose that one as well. They are not that good.

Re: Who Will Topple the Tide?

If LSU played them again sans the usual two week prep time, the outcome may be different. Good game for the other Tigers. Strange college football year.

Maybe LSU should play Bama in a bowl game?

They'll still be in the CFP, but you're right, this team isn't nearly as good as teams past. They have several flaws.

I concur as well. One of the least dominant Tide teams in a long time. I don't think it'll get better next year either. Still the best in college football, but the gap is inching closer for whatever reason. I'm sure the constant losses to the coaching staff over the years hasn't been doing it any favors and looks like Jeremy Pruitt is going to take a HC gig somewhere pretty soon.

Saban sucks all of sudden as Bama coach and in recruiting? He did let Kamara walk, come to think of it. What a putz!
