Celtics/Saints vs.Lakers/Colts
Both NBA teams are very deserving after this season.
You do not make it that far with a few wins, beginners' luck, whatever. The Lakers are that good. The Lakers are a multi talentend team in all positions. I want the Boston Celtics to win. They are up against the Lakers , the alimghty ,cocky,Hollywood Lakers. This reminds of the Saints going against the almighty , great Colts who just knew they had won the SB. Why even have a SB? Most of the media favored the Colts. Most NFL fans favored the Saints. Same thing for the Celtics. Go BC!!!!! This years' NBA Finals are like the SB with the Saints. It is exciting. (I know this is the Saints forum, but I thought mypost could fit here since I have a Saints reference.) |

Re: Celtics/Saints vs.Lakers/Colts
I like your comparisons and parallels. I am also pulling for the Celtics. I am sick of hearing how good the Lakers are. Just like we get tired of hearing how good Dallas is. For the same reasons.
One thing that rarely gets mentioned. Boston is a VERY good team with VERY good talent. That gets downplayed, just as the Saints talent and coaching are still downplayed. Go Celtics. |

I'm a Lakers fan and don't want to stop just because they've been winning for a while. I won't stop being a Saints fan when and if we become a dynasty.

Celtics/Saints vs.Lakers/Colts
Except the Saints didn't stop playing at halftime like the Celtics did. |

Re: Celtics/Saints vs.Lakers/Colts
Hulka,right you are.DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish BC had won. They were so so up by 10 at the half. WE know from the old Saints days and we were just happy with a good time, and winning at the half, that the game is NOT over at half-time!!! We NOW know with the Coach Payton Saints years, the game is not over at halftime. WTF happened to BC?!?!!? Ugh, Kobe, Queen Vanessa Bryant( she is part of the team), the whole Hollyweird thing, the cockiness of the Lakers, ugh!!!!!!!!!!!! Hmm,so what if the Lakers won this year. NEXT YEAR THE Lakers are going to the Finals and they are going to lose bad to THE NEW ORLEANS HORNETS,LOLLOL!!!! Better luck to BC next year. I LOVE LOVE a good game , but you like to see different teams win the big one , an upset, you know, keeps it interesting.
