.... well, now you got me thinking about it even more,

... the guy did rig up lighting on the dig site, so he would be able to work at night and at odd hours should he have a day job ... and ... he may very well have a woman and this may just be his way of spending 'quality' time at home and avoiding the dreaded 'honey-do' list ... I mean, can you see it? ... "Not now, hon! I'm digging out the basement!" ...

... this guy just might be an evil genius,

It would definitely take a "special" woman to put up with that "hobby."

While it might be pessimistic on my part, my guess is that he is a loner on welfare trying to compensate with this grandiose project.

Loner? ... maybe, trying to compensate for something? ... possibly, but with the cost of owning a home for 10+ years (in Canada too) and all those expensive R/C vehicles, I'd wonder if he's a welfare recipient ...

... I watched a couple more of the videos, they're great! If this guy is in southwest Ontario, I might have to take a trip and watch him work!
