Not everyone is cut out for the kind of work it may require to get A's; this is the outcomes part. Obviously, not everyone is guaranteed A's; in fact no one is. On the other hand... with affirmative action and quotas, this is considered unequal opportunity; an accomplishment from the left which has passed its prime (or has it, as the Caucasians are set to be the minority soon in this country; they already are world wide). Even in terms of scholarships, they are often doled out based on certain mandated quotas and affirmative action. This affects great students who may not have the opportunity to attend the school of their first choice. But straight A's will get you a full scholarship somewhere. | |
