I think both of those nut jobs boarded aircraft outside of the USA, so the domestic TSA can't really be blamed for that. As an Israli anti-terrorist expert pointed out, the next terrorist act will be like a backpack carried into a mall or other heavily-traficked public area and detonated. As someone already pointed out in another thread, the domestic security system is 'reactionary' based, instead of aggresively looking for threats. Try flying out of an Israel and you will see what real airport security should be!! You won't get anywhere near a terminal without a thorugh screening of you, your papers, luggage. |
