Re: The 1970's
Too many to quote on my phone...
1. I played outside. If it rained we played outside under cardboard, when the rain stopped we played in the ditch. 2. Megalon? 3. The Atari 2600 - ohhhh the memories. 4. 1977-1978 when Smokey and the Bandit replaced cowboys and Indians. |

I had a pair of those roller skates with lights underneath. Looked pretty cool at the rink. LOL
Does that count? |

Re: The 1970's
I know. I'm so ashamed. There was a really bad movie that had some guy, the star, who wore black roller skates with neon yellow laces and lights under them. I don't know. I grew out of it...and I can at least say I wasn't the only one. Maybe it was even the 80's by then, I can't remember, but everybody who was anybody had skates like that at the rink. I swear it.

I stuck with what worked for me so I didn't change a whole lot. Several sets of basically the same products... PP decks, Independent trucks, Bones and Kryptonic wheels (german bearings of course). Ahhh the memories. That was a really fun period of my life. I still have dreams of street skating and half-pipe shredding. Do you ever have dreams about it? Skateboarding and BMX!!! Thats heaven!!! |
