Yogi Passes at 90
this is a discussion within the Everything Else Community Forum; Yep, of Yankee legend, this one. Played on those great Yankee teams of the '50s. Batted left, threw right (just like me, ). Never seen him play, of course, but did get to see him in his brief managerial career ...

Yep, of Yankee legend, this one.
Played on those great Yankee teams of the '50s. Batted left, threw right (just like me,  ). Never seen him play, of course, but did get to see him in his brief managerial career with the Yanks, and knew him mostly for his "Yogi-ism's" ... " Always go to other people's funerals, otherwise they won't come to yours. " , he once said. Seriously.We'll be there in spirit, Yogi. RIP. |
