Not that kind of glass. Well, maybe on the sides. Our rink doesn't have the "pillars" between the glass...and our glass isn't laminated. Very dangerous. What the NHL is going back to is the pillared system, which is good for safety, but bad for visibility, and even worse for puck clearing. Especially when you try to dump it around the corner and it bounces off the pillar and in front of the crease

Slo- did you see Simmonds goal the other day? deflection off the face and in. Sucks when you are getting 20 stitches as thety are announcing your goal

That Pens-Flyers series is going to be a war-
unreal what Malkin, and in Sunday's game, Crosby get away with. And the Pens start a 5 on 5 fight at the end and Philly ends up with the extra minor.

I personally don't think Crosby complains 1/10 as much as people accuse him, and case in point you mention something from 3 seasons ago. I think he is a great hockey player with a bad rap, partly bc he has that stupid whiny look on his face half the time.

Ya. He has talent, as much as I don't want to admit it....like I don't with Jimmie Johnson. He was knocked out last time by my man, Ferris State alum, Chris Kunitz lol

Kunitz is a pretty dirty player, IMO. He is the protypical guy you love to have on your team, and hate if he plays against you. He gets in more shots after fights are stopped than any player in the league. He can also put the puck in the net.

Personally I don't watch him. I don't like the Penguins, but that's the Wings fan in me. All you hear about here is the '02-'03 Ferris team because they were so dominant with him. Until this year. Now we are in the Frozen Four. The '02-'03 team never got us there...this is the first team to do so, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a few Bulldogs in the NHL soon.

Look for Zach Redmond in Winnipeg. He should be there soon. He graduated last year but has to stay in the minors for now. I've heard he is definitely ready though and was in that league's all star game this year

Didn't see the Simmonds goal, but got the highlight ... man, that's gotta' hurt. Watched some of the Penguins/Flyers Sunday though and you're right, it's gonna' be a war in the playoffs, even Crosby acknowledged that.

If Sunday's any indication, it'll be the opening series to watch.
