Supposedly he called it immature and had it match the logo for everything else. However, the stick still exists on a lot of the apparel in the pro shop. Most of it is new stuff too

Ferris State defeated Union (NY) 3-1 to move on to the championship game on Saturday. They will play the winner of Boston College vs. Minnesota

Long day yesterday...yes it was. I was at work from 8 am to 10 pm with a break to get gas, and taking a break to watch the game lol. Let's see what BC really has. Usually their games have no defense, and we have a great defense

Final score Boston College 4, Ferris State 1. Game was 2-1 until about 3:30 left in the 3rd when BC got one past Taylor Nelson. The 4th coming on an empty net. Good year for Ferris. 1st Frozen Four appearance, 2nd NCAA tournament appearance.

Yeah, I watched most of the game and it really turned into a goalie's duel between Nelson & Milnar. Ferris' defense was tough, but I think they played too cautious at times out of respect for BC's offense. Nonetheless, the Bulldogs represented well and I was proud to be a Michigander.

Earlier in the season when you were touting Ferris State as the team to beat, I didn't really take you that seriously, but now I know not to doubt the guy who drives the Zamboni, .

Well, its not that BC was good (which they were), its that we weren't playing the best I'd seen us play. Too cautious like you said. We kept shooting easy shots at them, ones that the goalie could easily see and stop. That happened earlier this year too (I forget the opponent).

Nelson is leaving, this was his Sr year. We got a hot new freshmen goalie who will be starting next year (as a sophomore). He actually split time with Nelson earlier this year.
