1st Annual Black and Gold Mock Draft!
I was just thinking that it would really be fun to create a mock draft as voted on by all of the members of Black and Gold. The only rule is we will vote on one pick per day for the next 32 days. Then maybe we can get Halo to sign up our Mock Draft with some of the Mock Draft databases on the internet after it's complete. You know a little marketing and PR thing. You guys and gals come up with some good comments about your choice of the day and it may be selected to represent that days pick. I will start a new thread everyday for each new pick, that will make it easier to track the votes.
Vote now for the 1st pick overall Houston Texans: My vote goes to: Reggie Bush, RB, USC |

RE: 1st Annual Black and Gold Mock Draft!
I agree with you Cher, "With the first pick in the 2006 NFL draft, the Houston Texans select Reggie Bush, RB, from the University of Southern California." I don't see how they can pass him over, he's the most talented player I've seen in a long time and I think he's going to make an instant impact and go on to have a great career. No doubt who the Texans should choose. Tomorrow should be a little more interesting...

RE: 1st Annual Black and Gold Mock Draft!
i disagree. the most dominatin big man ive seen in a while is OT, ferguson, bush behind a poor offensive line wont get them to the promise land. but carr, an experienced qb and a much improved o line will hav a much better chance on sudays....so if im houston i trade down w tnsee and take ferguson and get extra piks....

I disagree . . . Ithink the Houston owner will be looking more at his bottom line, especially given the Texans history of late. Their first round pick will be their homey, Vince Young. I agree with the analogy above of Reggie Bush, but you have to remember also that Kubiak was a QB and may be attracted to Young potential.

Thanks to everyone that has responded so far, the rest of you that have an opinion but just not now, don't come back and make comments about this Mock Draft when it's completed when you didn't even have enough time to make one pick.
Believe me I will keep track. |
