this is a discussion within the NFL Community Forum; Love to know the thought process behind deciding who got laid off. Was it salary related? Looking at some of the layoffs it doesn't seem to be. And what about their broadcast contracts with leagues and/or conferences? Should the leagues/conferences ...

Love to know the thought process behind deciding who got laid off. Was it salary related? Looking at some of the layoffs it doesn't seem to be.
And what about their broadcast contracts with leagues and/or conferences? Should the leagues/conferences start to worry about getting paid? |

This is all coming from the parent company of Disney. They have plenty of capital. But, from what I read it was salary based mainly. Staying lean means greater profits.
