Question concerning penalties that do not affect a play
I need someone to explain to me how a penalty that does not affect a play what so ever causes the reverse of an interception.
Example: Warner gets dust brushed off of his helmet after throwing an interception. The roughing the passer penalty happened after he released the ball. How in all that is holy can this result in a reversal of the interception? Yes penalize us yards but to ignore the result of the play??? Even on a kick off or punt the yards are accessed after the play. But the play is not "done over". Even if Warner was blown up by a land mine he still threw an interception that was not caused by any illegal activity. |
