You know that does make sense. I mean Brees gives everyone a chance with the ball, so he is the only guy with the big time stats. We have so many weapons so it was easy to replace Bush with Spoles. Theres not alot of talent with the phins. So he going to get more touches and more yards, but I don't think he is going to make it though a entire year with a heavier work load.

Definitely a valid concern... he's had a poor track record of staying off the bike.

I will give you that he was injuried and unable to play a lot of the time. |

Reggie Bush is the type of runner that needs enough carries in a game to be able to develop a consistency. Elusive/Juke runners tend to actually learn how to handle certain defenders throughout the game. In New Orleans the offense was far too diverse for Reggie Bush to impact the game in the way he is capable of. I think he'll be pretty good in Miami, but oddly I think we also made the right move in trading him. I am not trying to attempt comparing him to Barry Sanders, but Sanders also was a type of back that had a lot of plays of lost yards, those same plays that people complain with Reggie Bush about.

He still has to play the season. Good Luck to him like I've said before. There's 16 games to play.

That's true, and he very well may get hurt, but I honestly think his rate of injury will go down with more reps per game. I'd like to see him do well also. Many people think he didn't care about winning or whatever while he was here, but I think a lot of his problems were the result of caring what everyone else thought too much.

I just watched his "big" 17 hard run. There was nobody around, the defense looked softer than bread pudding.

I'm rooting for him and hope he stays healthy. No hard feelings here.

No hard feelings here either but if Miami fans think he's going to miraculously start gashing up the middle when he couldn't do it behind some of the best linemen in the game, well all I can say is I'm not going to crush their dreams. Just point out reality.
