Without a pass rush and with the loss Curtis Lofton, the team's leading tackler, neither offense nor defense will be able to compete adequately to win the NFC South or even notch a wild card berth.

How about "The Staff of Ord"?

Seriously, though, Stafford had a heck of a season last year, and to call his performance just "solid", it's a bit on the understatement side.

I expect them to, but it's going to take developing a run game and a little self-control (on & off the field) in order to avoid game suspensions & untimely personal fouls/penalties ... taking care of these areas of concern would go a long way in compensating for a less then average defensive backfield, IMO.

The Lions have a history of self-destructing, so I don't hold candid reviews of my team against the bloggers ... much,

, and they still have a lot to prove.
