Well, good for you! You dug up a stat!
Then again, there is the "other" stat, the passer rating stat, on the same ESPN website, that has no Matt Ryan anywhere between 1 and 5. 2011 NFL Statistics - National Football League - ESPN NFL Total Quarterback Rating - National Football League - ESPN I guess you can pick and choose which stat you want to use, which stat is more valid than the other, which stat makes you feel better, etc etc etc. The one thing I know is that, in crunch time, neither Brees, nor Brady, nor the Mannings, etc. look at best overwhelmed, at worst scared, like Matty Melt does. And there's no stat for that. Matt Ryan isn't even the centerpiece of his own offense, for Pete's sake. Matt Ryan is a solid QB, who has had success in the regular season. Be glad you have one of those... don't believe what Prisco and ESPN tell you. |
