... for the brief time I watched the game before I felt the uncontrollable urge to puke and possibly gouge my eyes out, they looked so-so ... part of it is, of course, the preseason, the fact it was Cincinnati and part of it is they are really average ... defensive line was jumping, 2 personal fouls (albeit the face-masking penalty was a bad call) ... it was just a very un-entertaining, unimpressive game by both teams ... I had to turn away from the game early while I still had some dignity & self-respect,

I thought that the Clowns were doing their best to change their offensive strategy. More passing, less reliance on running, they even tried screen passes which were unheard of last year. Their Sproles clone did look good, Turner looked fat & slow, Julio looked very good, Shatty looked average. Just my thoughts. |
