An understudy is his only hope but I think the verdict is he's incapable of even being a formidable backup. He's not very accurate. The only thing he was really good at in college he can't do in the NFL. I think his bet shot would be to become a FB and start working on catching out of the backfield and some designed plays where he can throw it from that position.

That's where I've always been on the guy, put him at FB, TE, maybe an OLB ... anywhere but QB. He's athletic and a team player. Denard Robinson (QB) out of Michigan is going to be the next 'Tim Tebow'. He has the skills to play in the NFL, just not at QB, and he insists on being a QB. You can't always get what you want. |
