Tell you another thing though.

How the Falcons loss is probably more epic.

You up 17-0, I think it was what? 24-14 at half time?

You pretty much got the lead through 55 mins of the game, you let them go ahead 28-24 and you got the ball with about 5 mins left, and you fail to do anything with it for about 3-4 of that 5 mins.

not to mention 2 turnovers I believe it was inside the 49ers 30 yard line, 3 counting the failed 4th down inside the 20 with about a min left or so.

Fans would be on suicide watch after that.

He said the defense let them down, but how can you say that when the offense put up zero points in the second half?

The whole team choked. Offense, defense and coaches.

Matt Ryan.

He has Jones and Gonzo to think for making him look good. White to to some extent, because when Ryan usually tosses a TD, one of those guys is wide open uncontested. Otherwise Matty boy has problems scoring.

well the 06 NFCCG was an example of facing wrong team, wrong time, wrong place. When the Bears went to the SB that year, it was a given that Indy was going to win, much to the like of when Atl beat Minny, you knew Denver was going to win that matchup easily.

Bottom line is, the better team misses out on the SB more often than not due to the crappy scheduling system put in place after the division realignment, I mean hell, it was responsible for the Falcons 13-3 season hosting the NFCCG, all they had to do was beat a Seattle team that should of never been there to begin with.

Seattle shouldn't of been there IMO. Green Bay should of had another win.
Not surwe who the other team was real after Seattle but yes thjat couls of changed things up

What else does Goodell have to do for them?

Officials fumbled alot of things around in the first 4 weeks of the regular season, or first 3 really. But it was that Seattle/GB game that screamed to the NFL to put real refs back in, but the real refs did as bad as the replacements on their 1st week back. All the replacement refs did was prevent several teams from doing what they want to do and allowed some of the least talented teams to stay in it.

Thats why the Saints lost to Washington and KC, its why Washington, Minny, and Seattle even made the playoffs.

Their was so much **** changed this season if their was ever a season I put an asterisk by, its 2012 season, followed by the 82 and 87 season.
