well the 06 NFCCG was an example of facing wrong team, wrong time, wrong place. When the Bears went to the SB that year, it was a given that Indy was going to win, much to the like of when Atl beat Minny, you knew Denver was going to win that matchup easily.

Bottom line is, the better team misses out on the SB more often than not due to the crappy scheduling system put in place after the division realignment, I mean hell, it was responsible for the Falcons 13-3 season hosting the NFCCG, all they had to do was beat a Seattle team that should of never been there to begin with.

Seattle shouldn't of been there IMO. Green Bay should of had another win.
Not surwe who the other team was real after Seattle but yes thjat couls of changed things up

Can't get past the fact that this was Atlanta year...

Officials fumbled alot of things around in the first 4 weeks of the regular season, or first 3 really. But it was that Seattle/GB game that screamed to the NFL to put real refs back in, but the real refs did as bad as the replacements on their 1st week back. All the replacement refs did was prevent several teams from doing what they want to do and allowed some of the least talented teams to stay in it.

Thats why the Saints lost to Washington and KC, its why Washington, Minny, and Seattle even made the playoffs.

Their was so much **** changed this season if their was ever a season I put an asterisk by, its 2012 season, followed by the 82 and 87 season.
