Jerry Jones had no choice. Dallas is over the cap in theory, and Romo's contract had a NO FRANCHISE clause for next year. The only way to get Dallas under the cap and keep Romo was to give him what he wanted in an extension.

That is why in the 2013 season we'll have another tier SUPER ELITE STATUS.... yes in all caps not to be confused with regular elite status. |
