Re: Rumor (I hope this is not true) Tebow will visit Saints
He should get an acting job on daytime soaps...
There he can "have" played for any team and won as many championships he wants |
Re: Rumor (I hope this is not true) Tebow will visit Saints
I am lost. Is this thread now about N.O or LA beers past and present? :-)
Remember Jax and Dixie. jax beer - Google Search dixie beer - Google Search As for Tebow, I think an NFL team will pick him up and he will end up playing another position. |
We should sign Tim Tebow
Preface this by saying I don't particularly like the guy
But seriously. The Saints would be the perfect place for him. There would be no QB controversy. No big national media sticking their noses in all the time and stirring up junk. He wouldn't cost much and could sit back and soak in all the knowledge he can from Brees and Payton. Tebow would be such a radical change of pace for our offense it would catch teams off-guard. And we have the kind of running backs, lineman and blocking wideouts that could make an option offense really hard to deal with. Third and short would be a cakewalk. Maybe I'm crazy, I think Payton is one of the few offensive minds in the game that could figure out how to maximize Tebow's skills. |
Re: We should sign Tim Tebow
Sorry I did not see the other thread about him. Didn't even know he was visiting the Saints, it was just a wild thought.

Re: We should sign Tim Tebow
The kid has No Character Flaws , and is Rediculously Clutch ... If his dream is to really be a NFL QB one day then his best bet is to learn behind Brees or someone of that Caliber and Iron out what Bad habbits he has and has picked up from horrible coaching ( not saying any names ) and when it's his turn in the not so far away future he will be a total package ready for the Job

Re: We should sign Tim Tebow
I know that people do not want to hear this but when you think about who kept Atlanta out of the sb, and who put SF down 28-0 to ultimately help the ravens win, who do you think did that? I will tell you..................GOD.
He was looking down on us in these playoffs. Atlanta could have kept that lead or some of it and could have made a play on their redzone to beat the niners. And SF could have gotten lucky and taken that win away from ravens. Those games could have gone either way. I actually thought SF would win the whole thing, while at the same time knowing many saints fans would not be happy with that. And I truly believe that the Man Upstairs had a presence that dodged two major bullets for us. And who in their right mind thought anyone not named Lewis, Manning, Big Ben, or Revis was going to go into Foxborough against the AFC's winningest team and have a chance at winning? i sure did not believe it would happen. I have seen the AFC playoffs too many times and a 12-4 team that people are putting down that they did beat people are using lame excuses for why they lost to Denver. Pittsburgh is an elite team and it is not easy beating them in the playoffs. That team would have played a much closer game against the pats. Tebow may not be a sb QB but most teams in this league are actually nowhere close to that and their chances are worse in the AFC. Tebow does have leadership however and we could use that. And I for one would love for God to be on the saints' side. I'm done with this though. |
Re: We should sign Tim Tebow
actually it has nothing to do with tebow at all. It is freaking media circus. good point he would come here to backup the backup clip board holder.

I'm putting battery acid in that Tabasco to add smoothness to the glass shards.
This topic is done. Like Aaron Brooks done. |

If you want qualifiers, we can add: He will play by week 4. He might be the backup. He might start in place of an injured starter. Wildcat. Or special teams. Hell, he might punt. or dropkick. Or play TE. or wideout. Or kick the extry point. But he is a football player, and he's smart, and he was the best player in college, and he exercises every day. (Did you exercise today?) I wouldnt have him going off to the Memphis Ribs just yet. And by the way, just because somebody roots for an underdog dont mean they's unedumocated. Otherwise, I'd be on Honey Boo Boo, b-cuz I rooted for the Saints, who didnt belong on an NFL field for 21 years. SO. Mouth. Meet money. Money, this is mouth. Yall shake. |
