Michigan Panthers, led by Louisiana's own Bobby Hebert, won the league's inaugral championship ... it was a "fun league", . The only two other players I can remember from that team were WR Anthony Carter (UofM) and the kicker, some Serbian guy named Novo Bojovic who did really well later on in the Arena Football League.
