Re: The Team to Beat in the NFC
San Fran.
The seahawks are a strong team but not quite at the top level yet post-season wise, they really should have beat Atlanta last post-season, but playoff jitters got them early and they couldn't recover in time. I hope New Orleans is, depends on what the defense looks like. |

Re: The Team to Beat in the NFC
I don't think there is a single "team to beat", I think there are several solid teams that will all have a chance. Over the last couple of seasons the most consistent teams have been San Fran, Green Bay, and Atlanta. I think all three of them will be in the discussion this season as well. Seattle looked really good last season and I think they will be strong again. And finally the Saints had enjoyed an excellent run from 2009 through 2011. Hopefully last year was an aberration w/ the bounty mess and Sean Payton gone. I expect the Saints to get back to double digit wins this year.
NFC East is hard to predict. The Giants are usually only okay in the regular season, but have had a tendency to get hot during the playoffs. RGIII looked like a superstar in the making, but how will he recover from his injury? |
