As for you to rethink what you said to me, and maybe realize your fail. Seeing how you ended by saying torturing or mudering animals for "sport", example hunting, which is exactly what my initial post eluded to and caused your response.

There are nuances that you are missing.

Eating what you kill is one thing... Killing something for a trophy isn't illegal but it is not what most hunters do by choice, but there is no intent of pain and suffering on the hunted. Hunters do not fire to wound, and if an animal is wounded it is tracked and put down.

There is also the fact that hunters do not hunt domesticated animals. Putting two domesticated animals in a ring and having them fight to the death is cruelty.

I have hunted since I was a child, I have nothing hanging on my walls to show for any of my kills. Nothing stuffed as a trophy.. I had a rabbit pelt once but the meat was eaten.

Your opinion on hunters and hunting is akin to a little old ladies opinion on gang members.
