Re: Washington Warriors?

I'm not a fan of the logo on the helmet, but Warriors is really not that bad...

I like Warriors as well. Those colors look too much like the Chiefs though. How about the Washington Griffins?

I know, WTF. That's not even the right red and yellow! Even worse, look at it closely -- the army guy has Chinese eyes!

Al McGuire, coach, Marquette Warriors, 1976 NCAA Basketball Champions...now the Golden Eagles.
Warriors, it ain't gonna happen.

Well, I am Nordic. Blonde, blue eyes and built like a brick house.
I then take offense at the team name Vikings.

Re: Washington Warriors?

I've been to war numerous times and am therefore offended by the term "Warrior". I also am offended by taxes and are therefore offended by the city's name of "Washington". Can we just call them the "Virginia/Maryland Humans" and call it a day? Actually, "Virginia" kind of resembles "vagina" in its spelling so now I've offended myself and several others.
