Texans are releasing Ed Reed today.

After 27-24 loss to Arizona, Ed Reed said the Texans were "outplayed" and "outcoached." On Monday, he said, "I spoke the truth."

On Tuesday he is released. OUCH.

Reed should consider hanging them up. He is no longer the player he used to be. It appears Ozzie Newsome knew what he was doing...

Bring him here as a coach maybe, don't need him as a player. He is not the all-pro ball hawk that he used to be.
