this is a discussion within the NFL Community Forum; I wish someone would investigate why open stadiums like Arrowhead and Seattle generates so much noise with the crowd as opposed to a closed stadium. IMO it dont make sense unless someone is piping in noise, Those 2 stadiums and ...

I wish someone would investigate why open stadiums like Arrowhead and Seattle generates so much noise with the crowd as opposed to a closed stadium.
IMO it dont make sense unless someone is piping in noise, Those 2 stadiums and a Dome is almost polar opposites of one another, its a legit question we need to find answers to. |

Study acoustics and turbulence. Just because it's closed doesn't mean it can get louder, turbulence interferes with sound wave travel. It's also very much the microphone placement. |
