From New Orleans practice squad player to Detroit Lions starting running back, it's been a remarkable journey for this western Michigan home-town boy ... and wouldn't you know it, he loves his momma,

... this guy is fast becoming one of my all-time favorite Detroit players.

You can't say Detroit Lions running back Joique Bell doesn't care enough.

After Detroit's 17-3 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, NFL Network's postgame interview with Bell turned into a cross between a sermon, a professional wrestling shoot interview and an energy-drink commercial. Bell grabbed the microphone at one point and started talking (a mile per minute) about a conversation he had with his mother.
