![]() ![]() Kudos to Mike McCarthy & his staff for the challenge if they did so in the knowledge that Bryant did not make a 'football move' after the catch, yada, yada, yada ... that's a pretty technical assessment to make in real time during the heat of battle. My guess is they just threw the flag out there & hoped for the best, ![]() Couple good points I've heard since last week's fiasco and in this article are: 1) NFL refs are part-time, maybe they should consider full-time refs, 2) "All-Star" officiating crews for the post season aren't getting the job done., 3) the NFL rulebook is too voluminous for refs to properly officiate a game or for the players/coaches/fans to understand. ![]() JMO. ![]() ![]() |

Re: Role reversal: Late call costs Cowboys
One of the UK comentators said what I agreed with
If he was a yard closer and the ball broke the plain of the goal line but still came out when he hit the ground, it would have been ruled a TD and he still technically has not completed the process of the catch by NFL rules Obviously I don't care about the cowboys, I just think it was a very good catch by Bryant and in my opinion the rule should be changed |

Re: Role reversal: Late call costs Cowboys
Don't like the Cowboys. Didn't like last weeks call either but they got robbed in this one. How come it always seems Green Bay gets crappy calls in their favor?
