NFL seems set with current overtime format
this is a discussion within the NFL Community Forum; I wouldn't mind dropping the coin toss and just playing on. Here's a better idea, FIND a way to win in regulation...

I wouldn't mind dropping the coin toss and just playing on. Here's a better idea, FIND a way to win in regulation

This is actually a really cool idea. After the clock runs out to 00:00, take a quick TV time out, regroup, get some guys a water break....then quarter #5 continues on as sudden death, from the spot of whatever was happening in the game when it ran out.
