This is actually a really cool idea. After the clock runs out to 00:00, take a quick TV time out, regroup, get some guys a water break....then quarter #5 continues on as sudden death, from the spot of whatever was happening in the game when it ran out.

Simple do away with overtime. If you can't win in regulation you deserve the tie.
