The reason Brady got nothing is again on Goodell. Brady was willing to accept a one-game suspension, which was probably appropriate for the crime. Goodell was not willing to negotiate the punishment in good faith, instead insisting on an admission of guilt from Brady when he had absolutely no proof of wrongdoing on Brady's part.
The judge just let Roger know how inconsistent, absurd & stupid his disciplinary policies are. No 'breaking news' there, #shrug.
