He’s still putting up gaudy numbers. I agree with you about not putting too much money into a WR. I’m not sure how the negotiations with Thomas will go in the future. I hope he wants to stay more than he wants a huge payday.

He brought Brown's PT effort to my attention and verified it watching the games that when the ball isn't going to him, Brown barely puts effort into the routes...

In so far as Thomas is concerned, he's put up, so should the Saints, but that doesn't mean the contract numbers can't be done to allow the Saints to sign others...
