Re: NFL HardKnocks Viewership Down Below Half Its Regular Audience
Fantasy Football industry is confirming participation is down 20-30% and that's with banking on a big upswing week before games start.

That said, only down 20-30% is far better than most other industries. It appears they will weather it better than most. Thanks for the good news, Beast! |

Re: NFL HardKnocks Viewership Down Below Half Its Regular Audience
I would watch, but I didn't renew my NFL Gamepass subscription... yet.
I'm still pissed off that they made it free for everyone because of corona, but wouldn't refund any of the subscription cost for those who had paid for it. It's just the priciple of it, not the actual money. |

You'll spin anything. I'm convinced someone could set your house on fire and, lest you allow the perpetrator to feel he has won, you'd shout "this isn't a fire... And you just wasted your gas and matches on my house; joke's on you!". |

You can choose to believe whatever you wish. I am in a 48 team experts legacy league that only lost one owner this off-season and that was due to personal health issues. Surprisingly we usually have to replace two or three in a normal year. The biggest issue is concerning dues and payouts and how that would be handled if the season is cut short. For some it simply isn't worth the hassle, I suppose.
By the way, my username comes from an old fantasy site called FantasyAsylum.com. We moved to a new site and the username Guido was already taken so I added Asylum to the front to differentiate. |

Re: NFL HardKnocks Viewership Down Below Half Its Regular Audience
Another thing that annoys me about the Gamepass isbthe fact that their android smart TV app is broken in that it shows the gamescores even though I've selected it to not do that.
Wouldn't be a big deal if I'm watching them live, but I usually watch the later games the day after because of the time difference to Finland. |
