My oldest son graduated from bootcamp....
at Lackland on Friday, damn I was so proud I cried. Our family has a tradition of military service. I am a Marine and so is his mother. My Dad and his father were both Marines. Damn we're good at fighting I guess.
I'm glad he went into the Air Force and he picked Security Forces as his MOS, oh well I couldn't have everything. |

Congrats Cheramie.
20+ years of service and still going Army Strong with the Army Guard. Prepping for the next trip to the Sandbox in '08. He has chosen an honorable and proud tradition to follow, and one which more should be required to fill. He, you, and others like us are the exception in this nation as we are the .5% of the populace that ensures the freedoms of the 100% who benefit. You're allowed to thump your chest and shed a tear bro! |

Re: My oldest son graduated from bootcamp....
Congrats!!! I am currently in the USAF serving in Biloxi at Keesler AFB. I was really interested to see where you grandson was going because my job is a Military Training Leader. We get the Airmen after basic training, they dont only learn their specialty, they finish their military training, and thats where I come in. I actually know some of the MTL's there at Lackland in the Security Forces Training Squadron.
Congrats!! |
