That's what I thought this thread was gonna be about. Anyway, my swamp dweller friend and I are hitting the backwaters of the lower Trinity River (near I-10, thats all I'll reveal) --- a HIGHLY underrated crawfish haven next weekend with traps, trot lines, and various firearms. We've already had some great catfish catches, though the snake-shooting has been a bit disappointing. Water moccasins are nasty vile creatures devoid of any purpose-- I dont even think you can make decent leather products of them-- so they must DIE! Im not expecting much, but we just need to get out there and give it a try--- |
