Actually Danno - I think Brooks has been playing great ball. I\'ve said that over and over and over and over again this year. He\'s playing as well as I can expect and I think he still has a real shot at the Pro Bowl I predicted he\'d go to. I don\'t like the griping any more than you do - honestly I don\'t. I take issue with one poster on this site, a moderator no less, who continues to accuse people of malicious conduct simply because they disagree with his view.

To me, the issue right now has very little to do with Aaron Brooks. I will say for about the thousandth time this season that he is playing very well. My issue now is primarily with the conduct of Saintfan.

Skewed or not, what 08 feels about this team, or what BMG feels, or what I feel, or what you feel is only opinion. Everyone here knows that. We\'re all obviously Saints fans, otherwise we wouldn\'t come to the board. But that doesn\'t stop Saintfan, with the immunity granted a moderator, of suggesting that he knows our true intent, has deemed it \"un-Saintly\" and feels the need to follow us around picking fights and making accusations. Honestly, show me another person on this board who accuses others of not truly being fans of this team with the same consistency that he does. Show me someone else who attacks other\'s characters rather than argument as much as he does. I think you would be extremely hard pressed to find someone worse.

I have hoped for some time now that the other moderators would take some action. It\'s one thing when a person on this board is disruptive like Swampdog. However, Saintfan\'s conduct is as bad for the board in many ways. It\'s one thing if you feel that AB is a great QB, or you support the guy or whatever. It is something else entirely to support him to such a degree as to suggest that there is NO WAY any reasonable person could see things differently and that any person who does has an agenda.

I mean - look at the last statement I posted. Agree or disagree, there\'s some relevant information. He claims that dropped passes were CLEARLY a problem last year, and are still this year. I show that this year, we have two of the best WRs in the league to suggest that the argument that the WRs aren\'t supporting the QB is at least questionable. How is that not a clear judgment call - or one on which reasonable people could disagree? Instead, we all have an agenda.

He talks about how bad the line is, but doesn\'t show any stats to prove that. I show that AB isn\'t being sacked very much. This is the same line that has been called a strength for a long time and that produced a top 5 RB last year. Does that not at least give you pause? Not for Saintfan, it\'s an agenda.

In any case Danno - I agree. This has been old for a LONG time. It\'s not even a matter of Brooks to me anymore when it comes to this guy. It\'s not about Deuce or the o-line or the coaches, or any of that other stuff with him. It\'s about why we always have an agenda and he is always seeing things perfectly clearly. That\'s bad for this board and I hope the other moderators will do something to stop it.

What is MOST telling about your whole post is that you never, not once did you ever call your buddy Gator out for lashing into me, or Billy, or Danno or JKool, or anyone else who dared disagree with him. Now, lead by Gator himself it seems, you bring moderator into the mix. You notice things when you WANT to notice them, not when they occur. Your \"agenda\" is as clear as ever.

There\'s nothing high and mighty about being a moderator. This is a personal attack on me...not even my views...and you\'re quite welcome to take it to the everthing else board. I\'ll be there when you\'re ready. Gator never showed up. We can hash it out there, or you can \"pull a Gator\" and drag Halo into it or you can deal with the same thing you dish out. Your call.

I can quote very recent posts where you essentially lie and accuse me of having said things I haven\'t said. You make the accusations and then run like a scalded dog. Where are you now Whodat.

Regarding the blocking, it was NEVER acknowledged as a problem by you on this board until Deuce had problems with it. I made it a point to make a point of that and you and Gator wet yourselves over it. Fine by me. Point made. You talk about 2 sacks like our line is blocking like the Cowboys of the 90\'s. Rekon a mobile QB has a thing in the world to do with that? I took you to task regading your use of the work \"excel\" when you described our pass blocking. You credit the pass blocking against some pretty weak teams and praise Deuce for his poor performances against strong run defenses. You\'re not consistant. I\'ve pointed that out here for everyone to see (most saw it already anyway) and you can\'t handle it. Big frappin\' deal.

Again, you have a problem with me posting my opinion here then I rekon you have a problem. You and Gator. And?

All I got to say is our offensive lin e does a better job run blocking than pass blocking.

Then there are times when they don\'t do either one very well. And then there are times when they do great at both. It\'s called inconsistency. I\'ve been pointing that out for years.

But Deuce can play poorly and it\'s the lines fault. Brooks plays poorly and it\'s all on Brooks. And I mean ALL on Brooks. Let me repeat. ALL on Brooks.


Hey look... There\'s 11 folks on offense. Five of \'em are offenesive linemen. An offense is usually only as good as the line. Just ask Deuce. Or Brooks, but who\'d believe Brooks? Just ask Deuce, OK?!

The more I watch this team, the madder I get about all the criticism Brooks has taken. Oh he deserved some, but Brooks is as good or better than any player on the team.

And you know what? Just as soon as it\'s convinent, Brooks will be blamed again. Just wait.

Ya\'ll can tell me the problem is lack of leadership.

JoeSam and Halo are my favorite mods by the way. Still waiting to hear Halo\'s take on how the current regime has retarded Brooks development though.
