Brian Mottola named chef de cuisine at Emeril's NOLA
Brian Mottola, a veteran of the Emeril Lagasse empire, is taking over as chef de cuisine at NOLA (534 St. Louis St., 504-522-6652), Lagasse?s French Quarter Creole and Southern-inspired institution. Mottola began his career working for Lagasse nearly two decades ago, starting out as a line cook at the celebrity chef?s flagship restaurant Emeril?s New Orleans in 1997 before moving on to Las Vegas where he helped open Lagasse?s Delmonico Steakhouse.?
