Brewsday Tuesday: Mississippi's craft beer scene

The Hattiesburg Craft Beer Festival, held June 13, showed how Mississippi's craft beer scene has grown in the past year.

The event included several Mississippi breweries that sell beer in Louisiana: Southern Prohibition Brewing out of Hattiesburg, Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company from Kiln, Ocean City?s Crooked Letter Brewing Company and Yalobusha Brewing Company from Water Valley. Yalobusha presented two new year-round offerings that support nonprofit organizations: Snopes Family Pilsner and Mississippi Blues Trail farmhouse ale.? [ Read more ]
