Dude what have you been smoking. David West and Peja helped us get in the playoffs. Its not their fault we lost. We dont have good bench players. I would trade Bonzi and Mo Pete. The Hornets should pursue Ron Artest or Gilbert Arenas they will be free agents.

How many slumps did Peja Stojakovic; or more to the point, it was a common theme, "Stojakovic appears to be coming out of his slump"

David West is too small to play power forward and too slow to play small forward...

Depth on the bench is definitely needed cause these two just did not step up and made horrendous shot selections...

Arenas would ne a good pickup for sure. Not sure if the Hornets can afford it, though.

Re: Trade David West, Stojakovic

Now I'm thinking it's not a knee jerk reaction and he's crazy. Sure trade Peja... but who the heck would want to take on his contract? After he left the Kings, he was never the same player. He's now just a one dimensional 3 point shooter. West on the other hand has gotten better every single year. This year he was voted to the NBA All Star game as the starting power forward. Without Chris Paul and David West, we would not have made it as far as we did this year.

These type of players don't exactly grow on trees. He's one of the building blocks on this team and a budding star in this league. One may tend to forget he was playing injured and still managed to put up big lines throughout the series. Trading Peja is fine though there won't be any takers... suggesting a West trade is utterly retarded.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

All little common sense goes a long way.

I agree. I like Arenas for us as well. Give us a nice down low or 3-point line open shot when West or Paul is double teamed.

But we need at least 2 more 3-point shooters coming off the bench. I think a lack of 3s is what cost us the playoffs. I can't be too mad at the D we put on the Spurs. When they have three deadly accurate 3-point shooters on the floor at the same time, how can you defend that? You just gotta out score it.
