The problem is that your stories inspire others to not wear masks though. It is the #1 killer in the US now. I'm a cancer survivor and this **** scares me.

I'm 61 and it may be my time to go but I don't want to let someone not wearing a mask determine my future.....or lack of a future.
Amen, my friend! Refusing to wear a mask simply displays one's total disregard for the welfare of others. It is conceit at its worst. It's equally as conceitful to wear one under your nose. Conceitful and just plain stupid.

The husband of my wife's coworker died a couple of days ago solely due to Covid-19.

Health has zero impact on infect-ability, and wearing a mask inspires people to get closer so they can %#*€king hear what the other person ins saying.

Honestly my friend, you are vesting way too much hope in someone wearing what amounts to their underwear on their face.

Spot on. Even Dr Fauci laughed and said wearing a mask is useless at the onset of the China virus. If it makes you feel more comfie, by all means do it. I wear my mask if/when a store asks me, for the sole purpose of not causing a stink, but other than that it’s as useful as a screen door on a submarine.

We did things a little different in Houston Texas. We didn’t mandate the public wear a mask because they couldn’t enforce it which is very pragmatic. What they did was mandate that all business’s require their patrons to wear a mask to enter and do business if customers didn’t have a mask the business would be fined $1k per person per day.

I went back home to Lafayette La. for Christmas and I saw more people wearing nothing standing 1’ from each other that I have seen in an entire year in Houston.

I put on a disposable mask because it’s a requirement, no other reason.

The point of the comparison is that we wear our masks in public and there is no less of an infection rate.

I like the screen door analogy, I generally use “it’s like trying to stop 5,000 golf balls with a set of football goal posts.

Like trying to stop a hurricane with a butterfly net.
