Re: Brees Additional Injuries

I’ve been hesitant to post this because I’m not exactly sure how to word it but since the season ended we’ve heard of just how bad guys like Brees, MT, Tre’Quan, etc have been injured due to them having surgeries now. I haven’t heard a peep about Cam Jordan being more injured than he let on. If what I saw from him on the field this season was not him being hindered by injury then I’m scared. He was NOT being double-teamed all the time. In fact, I saw reps where he was at a 9-technique and got blocked by a TE.

It was disrespectful to the veterans who had one last shot at a ring for Brees to “suffer” through 5 significant injuries and play at 50%. You play the game to win, not supplicate the ego of an currently incompetent player.

This was a self inflicted gunshot to the knee.

Hill needs to be more decisive with his throws and anticipate and trust that the receiver is going to be where he's supposed to be and let it rip. With Winston, who knows. He made a couple good throws against 49er's when he came in and he made a couple terrible throws. Winston has the arm talent, just needs the decision making process to improve. I can see Brees coming back to camp and they have a full QB competition providing a deal with Winston can be made. He might be a post June 1st retiree and save a little cap space, who knows.

Winston’s terrible throws were overthrows to avoid an int and sack

We have had a triage for a team most of the year. Who else disrespected the practice squad receivers by playing hurt?

That statement ignores the context of most of the season doesn't it?

Cam doesn't get mentioned because.. well people just assume he is performing like he did in 2015-2017.. He isn't preforming that well but we cant talk about defense.

Well, I'll miss him but I'll bet Brittney and the family will be glad to have daddy home more now.

Actually no, the bulk of Winston's INT's were unforced, meaning he wasn't under duress when he chucked it to the other team. He also gave it up a lot with fumbles.
