How many want a healthy Brees back next year?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; With the 'revelation' that Brees was playing hurt for most of the year, if Brees was fully healed and could make all the throws, would you want him back?...

I have no interest of delaying the inevitable. Let's start working on the future.

Brees is a soldier. He has nothing left to prove. It's been a great ride, thanks for the SB trophy. Time for Drew to enjoy his family.

All these injuries have taken it's toll. Move on and start your next career in the broadcasting booth.

You bet your hind end I would.

All day, every day and twice on Sunday’s, lol...,

But I haven’t thought Brees could make “ALL” the throws for a few years now. Regardless of injuries.

All the throws...here lies the issue. Even with a good shoulder he could not make all of them over the last few years.

It's hard to let go but it's time to look towards the future while we have young talent on both sides the ball.

Time to move on, but I would not be completely against bringing a healthy Brees back for the last 6 to 8 games of the season as an insurance policy if the Saints are in contention.

Time to move on. Brees was great, but was also done a few years ago.

As papz said, delaying the inevitable. Let's just appreciate what he did for the last 15 years and move on with a young QB to build around.

Brees' is my favorite football player so it's not comfortable for me to say that it's time to move on. I think that for him the spirit is willing but the body is weak. He's got money coming to him in a desk job so why would he come back?

How great would it be to see him on the Saints sideline as a QB coach?
