Re: Stafford wants out of Detroit
Last year wasn't good for Goff but the Rams just arn't that great, he is more than serviceable as a QB, at least for now. Stafford is good but not that much better for that cost. Especially as Stafford going to be knocking on the door in 2022 wanting a new deal and giving up that much for him he is going to have them over a barrell for salary demands.

The Rams aren't going anywhere with this deal.

Re: Stafford wants out of Detroit
Sean McVay is the worst playcaller in the NFL. Basically a young Carl Smith. He will wreck Stafford who will get hurt holding onto the ball with no receivers open. Detroit will get two #1 overall picks out of this.

Re: Stafford wants out of Detroit
Well that’s one team picking ahead of us who won’t need a QB now.

Re: Stafford wants out of Detroit
I don't see Winston here
Someone will offer him a deal that we can't compete with, the only hope would be him agreeing a one year deal and cashing in next year with my game time |

Re: Stafford wants out of Detroit
I think it’s going to be too hard to keep Jameis. These other teams are probably excited to give Jameis a chance now that he’s new and improved with a year in Payton’s QB camp. Too much money. I think we’ll role with Taysom, Trevor Siemian and another QB we bring in from the draft. |

Mac Jones has had a few interviews with Saints and throws the ball with nice touch and accuracy. |

Re: Stafford wants out of Detroit
If other teams are interested in Winston, it leads me more to believe that either a QB Payton likes will slip down to pick 28 or a veteran with upside will be willing to take a friendly contract.
