When he was struggling here in NE last season everyone said his arm was shot too. Look what having a good WR cops can do. Brees had a Broken Thomas, a past his prime Sanders and a bum in Cook. You don’t see a difference there?

I’m spit ballin’.

I was thinking 15m too and I can see him take it. He needs to prove himself as the starter before they pay him more.

If coach doesn’t have faith in Jameis, they need to pursue Stafford (more realistic than Watson)

I don't hate Stafford, but I'd take Jameis over Stafford every day of the week and twice on Sunday's. Jameis would do very well with Sean.

Ball out and you can get the big bucks.

Careful, that is what I might classify as set up to lose. We have to get rid of 7-9 players to get under the cap, and will have to get rid of another 3-4 to clear enough cap space to pay $15M to Winston.

The way it will play out is that Winston cant ball out because we gutted the team around him and when that happens people that do not want Winston will say he had his chance and did nothing...

I believe that no matter what we do, Winston will be playing somewhere else in 2022.

Fair number.

15-20M is about the going rate for starting QB's.

That still means as a team they are paying out $31ml for 2 QBs under contract. Not really feasible under the cap with so many other high earners

So the only option is Taysom or a rookie?

Yikes

Not that I want this, but can Winston be tenderer for a first round pick like Hill was last off season?
