And hence comes the factor called luck. To make it to Super Bowls, and to win them, you need FAR more than talent and great coaching. You need everything else to fall your way. One factor is ease of schedule. The Patriots had that down pat (pardon the pun). You get a bye into the playoffs every year and you should win a few.

In a one and done "tournament" (as you enjoy labeling it) the best team doesn't always win. You need an incredible number of breaks to go your way. But one thing for certain, if you don't make it to the playoffs to begin with you have no chance.

When your expectations are all or nothing when it comes to the NFL you are going to be disappointed.

I guess that's the major difference between the two of us when it comes to the Saints. I relish in the journey. You appear to only be satisfied with the final destination.

C'est la vie.

“The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.” — Winston Churchill

2021 NFL Draft: Saints not standing still, reportedly looking to trade up, possibly into top 10

So let’s say the big trade up is for Surtain or Horn... How would y’all feel?

Jaycee all day for me & I'd love it.

LSU, Auburn, Ole Miss all stayed away from him as much as they could. He's physical, good speed & a swag to him. He hates to lose on the boundary. Ball hawk, really good at baiting QB's etc.

Day 1 starter at the next level. IMO he's the best, most complete cornerback in the 2021 draft.

Right there with you! That's what I was going to ask others. Who do they want on a move up? I want Jaycee, too!
