I’ve never been an Ian Book guy but will definitely keep an open mind. I was hoping for a weapon for Winston or a high upside side like Wade even though he got dragged around the football field last year.

This will make for one hell of an interesting QB situation during camp and preseason. It’s a great story...the Gadget knife, the Gunslinger, and the Rookie. Could shape the teams future.

I would have thought that the end of the 4th round would have been about right for the ninth QB off the board. If they had him targeted he probably wouldn't have made it another 80 picks or so ... the Saints next pick in the 6th round.
